On-Screen Advertising at The Chabot is a surefire way to connect with new customers and clients, and grow your business. Stills
Promote your business with a still image, uniquely designed by our Art Director.
Before every movie, we play a carousel of still advertisements in 15-second intervals. This carousel begins about 30 minutes before the listed showtime, and is the first thing a guest sees when they enter the auditorium. At minimum, your still will be shown 10 times. The carousel ends between 3-5 minutes after the listed showtime, so even late guests will see your ad!
Videos
As the lights dim, an iconic cinema experience, our pre-roll videos begin. Other than video advertisements, it includes a welcome and announcements video, a local-musicians highlight, and upcoming movie trailers. Video advertisements are in 30-second increments; you can share what’s special about your business in a 30-second commercial, or tell your entire story in a 3-minute mini-documentary!
Pricing
Advertising at The Chabot works on a cost-per-view model, and requires a 2-week minimum runtime. Stills cost $0.10 per view, while video advertisements start at $0.35 per view, and increase depending on the length of your video. We will set a budget for your advertisement; once the amount of views corresponds with your budget, we will remove your ad from our pre-roll so you won’t overpay, and send you our box office reports for the time your ad was playing, so you will know exactly how many people saw it.
For stills, there is a $80 flat cost for the creation of your advertisement by our Art Director.
For videos, the flat cost starts at $250 for the production of a 30-second video, and increases depending on the length. We can also use your existing video if it meets standards set by The Chabot.
